Created for the Max Ophüls Film Festival in Saarbrücken, Germany, The Film Dress explores the relationship between fashion and cinema through a sculptural silhouette incorporating authentic motion-picture film.

From the original sketch to the construction of the skirt, authentic motion-picture film becomes part of the dress’s geometric structure.

The dress taking shape through careful construction and collaborative craftsmanship.
